A BOOM IN HOME GYMS in 2021
The ongoing lockdown has seen a boom in home gyms, from converting spare rooms and garage conversions to installing dedicated garden rooms (outbuildings) for exercising at home. In an article in the Daily Mail in February 2021, Holly Harding in Buckinghamshire says “My home gym has already made a huge difference to me … I now have a gorgeous, timber-clad garden room that houses a dedicated gym with Peloton bike, top-of-the-range rower, plus bench, square rack and weights.”
With double, glass-fronted French doors it is fully insulated with heating, while air-conditioning will keep it cool in the summer.”
